Application Information
Period
New applications for the FY 2006/2007 funding cycle will be accepted from January 1, 2007 to 5:00 pm March 16, 2007. Applications received after 5:00 pm March 16, 2007 will not be considered for funding.
Information
Applicants should carefully study the Foundation priorities and the application guidelines before submitting a request. Please note that the Foundation primarily funds programs in the East Bay Area of Alameda County (California) and Central Florida. It is also important to note that the Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications. If the applicant has not been previously funded by the Foundation you may contact the Foundation by using the contact form on the website. Telephone inquires regarding program eligibility are discouraged.
Procedure Variations
- Applicants not receiving a grant during the previous grant cycle
- Recipients of a Grant during the previous grant cycle
New Applications
Applicants should include the following information in their proposal:
- History and activities of the organization
- Specific program for which funding is sought
- Significance and objectives of the program
- Names and qualifications of key personnel
- Program budget
- Specific funds requested and how they will be used
- Sources of other funding, committed or expected
Applicants should also enclose a copy of the following documents with their proposal:
- Organizational chart
- Names of the officers and directors and their affiliations
- Latest 12-month financial statement
- Current operating budget of income and expense by source
- Most recent tax determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service (501(c)(3) Letter)
- A cover letter containing organization name, project title, mailing address, telephone, contact person and total amount of funding requested should accompany the application. The cover letter should be signed by the president of the organization.

Renewal Applications
Applicants should include the following information in their proposal:
